BMI (Body Mass Index) is a measurement of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both men and women between the ages of 18 and 65 years.

You have a BMI of 30.1.

BMI is between 30-34.99 (Obese Class 1)

Individuals with a BMI of 30-34.99 are in a physically unhealthy condition, which puts them at risk for serious ilnesses such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, gall bladder disease, and some cancers. This holds especially true if you have a larger than recommended Waist Size. These persons would benefit greatly by modifying their lifestyle. Ideally, see your doctor and consider reducing your weight by 5-10 percent. Such a weight reduction will result in considerable health improvements.   bmi calculator:

I don’t have a weight chart for teen girls as tall as you so I am using the Adult chart.

Your weight should probably be between 126 and 154 pounds.   Normal Adult Height-Weight Range Table

You didn’t gain all your weight overnight, so don’t expect to lose it overnight. A slow steady pace of loss is healthier for you and will help you keep it off.   Info if you are trying to lose weight:

“How can I Lose 1 pound of body weight per week?”   One pound of body fat is equal to about 3500 calories. So to lose 1 pound of weight per week, you need to eat 500 calories/day LESS than you burn.

But it’s not a good idea to lose weight simply by cutting calories. As well as decreasing calories you should increase your daily physical exercise. This helps to burn calories and build more lean tissue which in turn burns more calories.

“What should a minimum calorie intake be?”

As a guide to minimum calorie intake, the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that calorie levels never drop below 1200 calories per day for women or 1800 calories per day for men. Even these calorie levels are quite low.

well I dropped 15 pounds in 10 weeks by running and stretching 5 days a week for 2 hours a day,, so maybe if you go everyday and for an hour after every meal, maybe youll drop some morre weight,, also try and eat less,, at first it seems like your not eating enough and you are hungry but just dont EAT moree,, that feeling will go away!! if you want to tone your body to make muscle try sit ups and a work out ball,, if you lie down on it and then do sit ups you only have to do half as many as you would on the ground,, get working soon,, school is only a feww weeks away,, as for those stretch marks,, I think you can by a product called scarguard for about 20$ and that should helped!!! good luck!!

sorry to say, but you can’t get rid of stretch marks. I have 4 kids and they (marks) are here to stay. You can lighten them up by using vitamin E oil on them. Buy the vitamin E gel tabs, open them up and rub it on. As for the weight loss, Eat healthy, No soda, no sugary foods. eat lots of fresh fruit and fresh veggies and jog every morning. When you jog it gets your heart rate going, good cardiovascular excersise is awesome! You burn fat as your heart pumps fast. If you can afford the gym, go there and use their treadmills or stair steppers. Most gyms have tracks too. Just get healthy. get rid of all the junk food in your house and replace it with yummy veggies!!!
