Has anyone ever had aPolycystic Ovarien Cyst?

I Have Polycystic (pol-ee-SISS-tik) ovaries. These cysts are caused when eggs mature within the sacs but are not released. The cycle then repeats. The sacs continue to grow and many cysts form. For more information about polycystic ovaries,has anyone ever had this before ? How did you deal with it?

I have PCOS, not the best person to talk to about it though, I pretty much ignore it. Uhm however, my doctors have recommended birth control (which ended up with me almost being hospitalized, but I’m weird around medication), and losing weight is supposed to help (well assuming you’re overweight, otherwise it doesnt do much I would assume). You should get your hormones checked out, my doctor was going on about an increased risk of cancer. And also there may be difficulties if you want to have kids. Talk to your doctor…

I have PCOS also and I ignore mine too. Although hormones may play a part, I’m also over weight and found when I excerise I tend to have consistent periods (at least once a month) the only thing I’ve noticed is that some are very light and others are very heavy.
