Does the bible say I am going to hell?

In that case, I don’t believe the hell part.

Answer #1

The bible says a lot of things. Like being gay is a sin, you’re not allowed to cut your hair, you will go to hell if you don’t believe in god, etc.

So it probably does say that you’re going to hell xD but who says that you have to believe that, lol. Don’t let a book rule your life.

Answer #2

If you have a lot of sins and don’t love god… yeah pretty much but those who have a good heart go to heaven.

Answer #3

I guess that entirely depends on why you think that you might. In general, I believe most Christians who sin ask for forgiveness and try to correct whatever sinful behaviour they’ve took part in.

I’m not religious so I may not have it entirely correct, but I believe that’s the general idea..

Answer #4

I honestly don’t think the Bible mentions you at all.

Answer #6

considering the bible is man written it is not accurate in any way…hell was a way to scare people into church……the originial translation for hell was the common grave……there is no scripture in the man written bible that says your gonna burn forever and ever…also if hell exist for ever why does revelation say hell will be casted into the lake of fire……..from a satanist point of view i firmly believe christianity is full of bogus lies….and contradicts itsself every second

Answer #7

If you are looking for arguments against the existence of a hell, you can read the book “The God Delusion” by Mr. Richard Dawkins.

(But that book also has a lot of arguments against the existence of a god. Don’t read it if those would make you unhappy.)

Answer #8

Brilliant.

Answer #9

Zach, just finished giving the good book a full read and like Colleen says there is no mention of you going to hell. You’re all good. Enjoy your upcoming weekend.

Answer #10

Let me first start out by saying that I believe Life, light, Good, and God to be synonymous. And just like evil can be a term for the absense of good, so can hell be a term for the absense of God. But if God is omnipotent and omnipresent how can there be a hell inside God? To me, the only way there can be a hell within the ubiquity of God, is that there be a conscious one on our part, which can be described as a “conscious seperation from God.” Because there is no seperation from him in reality. None whats so ever. We percieve this as real, but it is not reality.

We asked for the ability to be seperate in the Garden, and he gave it to us. Thought it was part of his plan all along. You see God knew that in order for real love to exist, there would have to be freedom of choice. So, he gave us free will, so that we may choose a relationship with him. To me this is the difference between heaven and hell and it is fully our decision, and it is right now. Conscious seperation = hell. Conscious unity with life, Good, God, = heaven. And it is a decision I make everyday. Sometimes I choose to live without him, and I get those results.
Answer #11

What are you talking about, Colleen? It’s got a whole book about him! {:^P

Answer #12

Hi Shadow Although the Bible is written by men(how else could it have been written though). its not just a mere book. It’s historically correct and also includes prohecies that still applies to today. It has also changed my life by giving me peace, purpose and hope. Soem may preach that ppl will burn in hell forever but ur correct in saying that hell will be cast in the lake of fire. Some will burn, but its not forever. This is not God’s will though. He desire’s that all will be saved but its ultimately up to each person.

Peace to you….
