German Labradane

My 1/2 lab 1/2 german shepard just had her babies. she was bred with a purebred mantle great dane. I was wondering what kind of price I would sell them for?

Answer #1

wow, you decided to breed these dogs? amazing… millions of mutts are killed in shelters each year… not a wise move to bring more mutts into the world. Charge a fee, you should never give away animals. And please, please, please, spay your dog…

german labradane…lordy…that would be good for a laugh if it wasn’t at the expense of a living creature…

Answer #2

you did this unpurpose???

I would sell them for the cost you put into the, I would charge something because you know the person is willing to spend money on the dog verses one who will just take it and who knows what they will do with the dog

or give it a fancy name call it a “designer breed” and charge about $1000 and pull one over on people like other idiots do. JUST KIDDING

Answer #3

I’d actually suggest not to follow ichibanarky’s advice on this one…lots of sick people prey on “free to good home” ads for animals, taking them and then selling them for scientific/research purposes.

HOWEVER

Both ichibanarky AND phrannie are right in that these puppies are mutts. I have no idea why you chose to breed mutts, as they are already rampant on the streets and being killed in shelters daily. Sell the dogs for a small price to filter out weirdos, then get your dog spayed so you don’t continue to contribute to pet overpopulation.

Answer #4

Charge enough to cover your expenses for shots and worming (and vet checks)…and to give the buyer a sense that he has something invested in this dog…he ain’t FREE!! $35.00 a pup would be a good price.

These aren’t “German labradanes”, if you were trying to give them some designer name. They are a three way crossbred dog…a heinz, a mutt…

Now get your mutt spayed(lovable, and faithful and good as she may be) and do her and the world of pet lovers a favor. p

Answer #5

They’re mutts…you won’t get more than $100 for them, and that’s steep.

With all the homeless dogs there are, why not forgo the charge and give them away instead…don’t use your dog to gain profit.
