german shepherd pup

I have a beautiful four month yr old german shepherd and I have a question bout her fur. her face was almost all black when I got her except for her eyebrow line, it was brown that was when she was two and a half months… now on the top of her head has more brown and a little white…is it normal for her fur to change colors?

German Shepherds change color big time, usually going lighter as they age…My dog was nearly all black, except for two dots above his eyes and two dots on his cheeks as a baby, now at 4, he’s gotten far lighter…This “lightening” is ongoing through out their lives.

As any dog grows, or even people!, they change. I was born with bleach blonde hair, now my hair is almost brown. Lol.

Yeah, it’s normal.

I had a german shep when I was 10 and his fur changed colour when he got older.. after grroming and washing..
