Friend of mine says suicide related insurance claims are up?

So a friend of mine yesterday said that they are seeing an increase in suicide related insurance claims, after the market crash. Now, with the AIG quarter million dollar bender the other week & the lack of jail time for these crooks…if the poor people OR middle class are “offing themselves” because they were just devastated as a result of the stock market plunge…isn’t it unfair that these companies get off without some kind of massive penalty?

Every single family member OR friend of mine who’s brought up the situation is mighty upset, and with good reason. However, with the suicide rate on the rise, it seems like something should be done. What do you think?

The AIG clowns that went on a $400,000 spa hiatus should get life insurance claims on themselves and we should throw them all off a cliff, collect the money and move to an island somewhere.. When the island fills up, well that’s it. The United States of Island. Actually, I’m on here looking for an answer to a computer problem and saw your question. good luck-

I think if more turned to their faith for strength and comfort in these perilous times it would help them tremendously - my faith is my solid rock even in difficult times and it’s only going to get worse with all that’s happening in this world today - turn on the news and all you’re going to get hit with is the constant ‘doom and gloom’ ‘if it bleeds it leads’ hammer - no doubt psychiatrist’s are going to get crazy busy - doesn’t surprise me at all those claims are up.
