Is it your butt thats bothering you or the actual anus? If its just your butt in general its possible you sat down too long, were active and now the muscles are sore in that area, etc. If its your anus thats throbbing its possible its hemmroids, irritation caused by bad hygiene and not wiping correctly, or small cuts and tears from constipation and using the bathroom.
