Does the fact that you were supposed to be a boy but came out as a girl affect the growth of breast?

Answer #1

How were you “supposed to be a boy?”

Answer #2

The people in the hospital said i would be a boy but im a girl. I really dont know but thats what my parents told me

Answer #3

Yeah, I’m going to have to go with that too. Exactly what do you mean you were supposed to be a boy. Are you talking chromosomally? Or do you feel like you were meant to be a boy?

Answer #4

You likely weren’t actually supposed to be a boy. I don’t even think that’s possible, they probably just made an error in guessing gender.

Answer #5

maybe the people in the hospital THOUGHT you were a boy? i have no idea, but no it shouldnt. if you get your period and have gone through puberty normally as most girls do (e’g have body hair were girls get body hair) then you should be fine. lots of girls have small boobs

Answer #6

no.. nothing like that. The tests said i was to be a boy but im a girl. I dont feel like i was meant to be a boy and im straight.

Answer #7

is it normal to be a 15 year old who doesnt fully fill a 32 a bra?

Answer #8

Shouldnt doctors be more careful. I mean what if a couple wanted a girl but the doctors said oh you have a boy but later they are surprised that they acutally got a girl

Answer #9

Yes. Everyone is different.

Answer #10

Then they shouldn’t ask until the baby is born?

Answer #11

Gender is a very complicated thing. You know how we’re taught that there’s XX and XY? Well it’s not even close to that. There’s dozens of different combinations that happen in rare situations. Sometimes people are more obviously affected than others. Sometimes even with an XY, you could not grow the whole male anatomy down there, and they’d label you a girl. Does it make you a girl, well… So, is it possible that your chromosomes are different or the hormone levels that you were exposed to are different, yes. Could this have an effect on your body development, absolutely.

Answer #12

Try to remember that gender has very little to do with anatomy. It’s about how you feel. You feel like you’re a girl, so you’re a girl. And none of that has anything to do with sexuality.

Answer #13

i was also “suppose to be a boy” but i came out a girl and I was 3 months early and i wear a c bra. so I honestly don’t feel like that has anything to do with it. I didn’t wear any bigger than an a until I was in the tenth grade (end of the year) and then 4 months ago was when I started wearing a c, because I started taking the pill instead of the shots, so yea that is fine. I was in an a for a long time till I was almost 17 so just give yourself time.

Answer #14

You have always been a girl, you were never a boy and magically changed into a girl before you were born. It’s just an unfortunate error in judgement from the doctors. It doesn’t have anything to do with your bra size. You are only 15, your breasts are still developing and will be until you reach your early twenties.

Answer #15

ok…yes it sure is possible…look up HERMAPHRODITE…..& as far as telling the sex of the baby …the only 100% sure way is an amniocentesis,

Answer #16

There are hermaphrodites, however this is not what she is talking about. This would imply she neither exclusively a male or female. She has told us that she IS female.

I know you were just pointing out that there are ‘hermaphrodites’ (although I feel ‘intersex’ is a much nicer term), I just don’t want her to be confused / scared by the concept and think she is one when she’s not.

Answer #17

It would be the equivalent of a (very uneducated) vet looking at a pregnant cat and saying that she was going to have puppies. It doesn’t mean that the cat is going to have puppies, it just means the vet has made a mistake.

Like many people have said, it was just an error of judgment. It doesn’t affect your development at all. I’ve seen 20 year olds (and of course other ages) who are basically as flat as a wall and I’ve seen 15 year olds with massive breasts as well. Everyone is different.

Answer #18

not at all….otherwise so many woman with small breasts have worse issues than that. I was a girl, always supposed to be a girl, am 27, an just never got boobies! It is all genetics. Look at mom and grandma.
