Emergency.I have to sing...please read!

Okay, so on saturday [in two days] I have to sing for a state wide comition. Im in two groups, one is a duet with my friend rachel, and the other is with 4 other girls. The competition is called solo-ensomble [a lot of you band geeks and choir nerd know what im talking about] its a high class compition, it can even give you music scholarships! Exciting right? Well… Two days ago I got the flu. My temp was 103 f. My temps gone, im not nausious…but. I have the worste sore throat in the world. I sound like a motor cycle when I talk. Does anyone have any advice as to how I can re-pare my voice before saturday??? Pleaseee

you would need to rest yourself and first go and see a doctor and get sorted with antibotics and tables, drink plently of water every day at least 3 liters or more then I would say you will be out of action for at least a week but its better to have 3/4 weeks for recovery. trying to speed up a recovery aint good as you do more damage than what you have long term

What you could do is just gargle some hot water with salt that really helps or you could get some cough drops or try some airborne but the hot water and salt thing really works.

P.S you also can use listerine but when you gargle it andit seeps through your throat its a horrific taste so the best is hot water and salt.
