What can you eat when you're lactose intolerant?

Answer #1

carrots, cauliflower, crumbs. Your diet is not limited. You shouldve asked, what cant you eat.

Answer #2

lactose intolerance is normal as most mammals stop digesting milk after weaning. its caused by the inability of your upper digestive system to process lactose due to a lack of lactase in your small intestine. lactase is the enzyme required to for you to digest lactose. when you have no lactase the lactose simply passes to your colon where it is devoured and absorbed anyway, only there’s a by-product of the bacteria eating it it produces large amounts of hydrogen, carbon dioxide, and methane. the symptoms of lactose intolerance, ie: gas, bloating, abdominal pain, acid reflux, etc. are preventable by avoiding anything containing lactose, milk, cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, even certain other foods that contain lactose as an additive.
