Red Wine YES and i think there is sumthing good about beer, Beer is a source of soluble fiber which is derived frm da cell walls of malted barley. A liter of beer contains an average of 20% of da recommended daily intake of fiber nd some beers can provide up to 60%. As well as aiding healthy bowel function, dis has a further benefit by slowing down da digestion nd absorption of food nd reducing cholesterol levels, which may help 2 reduce da risk of heart disease. Beer itself has no cholesterol.
no. beer and vodka and other drinks destroys your liver. it is also fattening. you can get addicted and for some people it controls their life.
for wine it has been proven to prevent and small amount of aging, but that’s because of the berries’ in it. that alcohol doesn’t help.
so all together no. alcohol is not good for you.
Beer must be good for one's health. My father used to arrive home late at night, every night drunk. He was one step away from being an alcoholic. It destroyed his marriage, but not him. He is still very much alive, and healthy, well into his eighties!
It appears that drinking alcohol (beer, wine or spirits) regularly in moderation is associated with better health and greater longevity than is either abstaining from alcohol or abusing it. "Alcohol and Health" http://funadvice.com/r/158qths7ash
well in my experience, i agree.. my whole family are alcoholics so i know the affects of drinking heavily...and to shed some light... alcohol is a foreign substance and our body treats it as such... thats why we have a liver...(put it to use, lol)
Drinking alcohol in moderation, unless contraindicated for medical reasons, is associatedwith better health and greater longevity than is either abstaining from alcohol or abusing it.
OH heck no i would never condone alcoholism for any1 but for diner yea its good for you my grandparent do tht and my grandpa is 102 and my grandma ia 94
No? a glass of red wine a day when over 21 is okay cause of the antioxidant properties but no alcohol is not good for you in the slightest.
They were asking though if it's good for your health, i do agree drinking moderately is okay but it's definitely not good for you haha.
In my personal opinion....drinking moderately is okay, drinking in excess though can lead to health problems and alcoholism...
Well, doctors do recommend a small portion of wine to increase circulation. But drinking excessively is definitely not.
Dang, Machenzie i was starting to put that, and saw you put it before i did!
no, even with wine, the negatives far outweight the positives
Any of these in excess is bad though.
