SOme times things happen in life that we can not understand and we feel like God is punishing us but that is never the case at all the bible also says.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Isaiah 61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.

I am sorry I can not answer you as to why becasue I do not understand my husband and I have lost two children and I still don’t know why God chose to take take their lifes it does not seem right or fair and I no it is hard hurts unlike anything but I also know that God is good and Just.

Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

Only god knows the answer to that…I adivse you seek him in prayer and fasting however know that some times in stead of an answer he will give you peace.

Maybe there is some thing that you will benifit from this…I know losing our kids greatly brought us closer my husband and I. It also made us want to be parents even more and greatful for the daughter we have who is due any day now.

There is always beauty in the hard things it is just hard to find it some times

vikings, this may be quite the extreme truth to give to you but I, in faith asked the same question……and allow me to state the two answers that were given to me……..The cause of cancer is…….too much growth too soon……peace and patience are seriously the cure………second……if that is not the case particular to your wife……..unknowingly some people actually find peace in illness………hence I said peace……what is the human treatment for illness but lots of rest…..and lots of rest is the start to recollecting peace in someones life. Food for thought, and I personally, not in rebellion to the faithful answers I was given, like to believe in mind over matter……think you are ill, confirm you are ill, and you will be ill now change that with I am not resting because I am ill……..I am resting because I wish for peace to overwhelm my life WITHOUT thinking I have to be ill to do that…………only the start as I have never personally been “diagnosed” or rather, convinced in trust that I have cancer.

im really sorry about your wife having cancer. But to clarify some things for you God doesnt give people cancer. My grandpa always told me every good and perfect gift comes from God
