Answer #1

Very little fat I would say…if any

Answer #2

They’re both low in fat and calories, but the way you cook them makes a difference - obviously deep-fried calamari is defeating the purpose.

Answer #3

Squid, octopus and crustaceans like shrimps, lobsters, scampi, prawns etc contain moderate levels of fat, but very high levels of cholesterol. Latter is the fact many people seem to miss or ignore. The levels of cholesterol in squid or octopuss is comparable or higher than levels found in egg yolks, for example.

When it comes to this type of seafood in my diet, moderation is the key ;-)

Answer #4

I think squid contains a casein protein that can also found in milk and some amino acids it also contain a high amount of iron that is why when you eat a lot of squid you may be dizzy ^_^ but my body type is endomorph or a easy gainer body type I ate squid every day but nothings change in my body… I am bryan from philippines
