Does God love me?

Does god love me? Was my life meant to be like this? Any christians out there? Is this what god had in store for me? Its okay to laugh xd haha

Answer #1

how was the bible proven to be inaccurate? tell me that much

Thank you for proving your ignorance.

yes I do, thank you =)

You’ve demonstrated before a complete lack of knowledge in science, and logical thinking. Your faith in god basically relies on “I don’t know how anything works, so God is the only explanation good enough”

yes he does of a matter of fact he created each and every one of us, hes our father so yes he does

WRONG! That’s only a belief. If you study the process of evolution and understand it, you’ll see humans were not created they evolved. Also, so some people live their lives in third world countries while other live comfortably, and God wants you to honor leaders because they’ve been chosen by God.. how unfair.

yes god does exist whether you want to believe it or not. its all up to you

As far as I know the Christian God doesn’t exist. Whether you want to waste belief in a god that doesn’t exist is up to you. :)

Answer #2

so you had some long answers but mine is short and sweet… God the creator of all things made you… and you were created in HIS image… not in the image of something worthless but that of an almighty God. he made you with purpose so that your life may be an influence to someone else. although sometimes we feel alone WE ARE NOT. God has made a promise to us that he will never leave us nor forsake us. he loves us unconditionally because we are his children in fact he loved us so much that for a second in history he turned his face as his only begotten son died on a cross to forgive all of our sins. God loves you just as much as he loves me and we are all equal. so don’t ever think that anyone is better than you… you should consider that you were made for something more… that God has a plan for you and that he knows your heart and your thoughts… and even knowing all of that he still loves you more than anyone else EVER will… I hope this helped…

Answer #3

If you believe in a God that “loves” you then you also believe in a God that has the ability to “not love” you or others. I don’t believe in that kind of God.

My God Created/Caused “The Big Bang” and then left everything that followed to evolution and the control(s) of the Entities that were created at the time of the Big Bang by the Dispersion/Diffusion of God.

God doesn’t love, God is Love.

Love

Love makes the world go ‘round, Thoughts of love keep the mind sound; Acts of love keep the heart strong, Receipt of love gives to life its song.

GOD’S LOVE

And God said (to Its Self):

“Let there Be Light!”

And We Became!

I choose

I chose to be born, – to live or die, Even the sex, that would be I; I chose the race, from which to appear, Also my wealth, my health and my fear.

I chose my trials and stumbling blocks, And the legs I would use, in all of those walks; I chose my sadness, my joy and my love, I chose to serve and not be above.

I chose this life – with all of its dues, And with each dawn, again I choose; The experiences for me that wait ahead, To be alive, or be claimed dead.

And of the future lives I’ve yet, It is my choice that I begat; All the things, however pleasin’, That shall befall me in those seasons.     From my chosen path I stray, Yet my God any’er turns away; For I have learned – and understand, That where God is – is where I am!

Answer #4

Yes God loves you, but its a different (and better) kind of love than you think.

Love, as its used in the bible, is not just a feeling. It is an act of the will; it is a decision. Authentic love “desires the highest and best goods for the sake of the beloved.” Authentic love is tested love. If it’s not willing to sacrifice, then it’s not really love (if you want to read more about love, its in 1st Corinthians Chapter 13).

How does God love you? “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent his Son into the world not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him” (John 3:16-17). He did it for the entire world, but I tell you that he would do it again just for you.

He is the Good Shepherd, and you are like his precious lost lamb. If you wander away, he will come out looking for you and he won’t stop until he finds you. And when he does find you, there he and all of heaven will cry out with joy, “She was lost and we found her; she was dead, but now she’s alive! Praise the Lord who found this precious child.”

He is the Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his sheep. Listen for his voice. He is calling you. He wants to bring you home. He wants you to live! He says “I came so that you might have life and have it more abundantly” (John 10:10).

I also noticed that you said that you were depressed. I had severe depression when I was in high school, causing me to miss sooo much school. I’ve discovered a few things in the years since then.

“If you want to see where the sin is, look where the hurt is.” Sin is real, and I’m sure that you can think of at least a dozen people who have sinned against you. I found that I just have to let go of my grudges and my anger, otherwise it will destroy my life. Mother Teresa pointed out when people sinned against her, “it’s not between them and me. It’s between Them and God, and me and God.” If you know that you have done wrong to other people, ask for their forgiveness. It will make you feel better.

You might ask why God allows things like that to happen. The answer is because he wants us to love him. He wants us to choose him. Remember, love is a decision. The hurt and the pain are there as an effect of sin. Christ paid for our sins on the cross, but he also said “whoever wishes to call himself a disciple must take up his cross and follow me.”

He wants us to learn to make peace. He want us to learn to be merciful. He wants us to learn how to be poor and meek. He wants us to know what it means to mourn, so that when he comes to comfort us, we will appreciate that much more.

God Bless, and I will be praying for you.

Goodness sakes Mozz! God is the only one to turn to when things get out of hand. Every day we long for happiness, but that is just a frame of mind. There is complete Joy (the opposite of happiness) in the Lord.

Jesus has a plan for you, a plan to prosper you, to protect you. He knows every thought you will have and every one you have had. He is such a perfect gentleman, He will always be singing over you, “I love you, oh how I love you.” He lets us decide which way to go when we are in need. To follow His way, or what we think is right.

Be still and listen, God is always calling His children and if we have a soft heart, we will truly hear His still soft voice calling your name.

If you would like to hear a great worship CD, get one of Dennis Jernigan, he had a rough growing up and the Lord Jesus Christ was His only answer.

Sometimes we can get angry when we think our lives are a disaster, it is only part of His refining fire. The trials we go through really strengthen our faith. We get through them, look back and say, “Only by the Grace of God I made it through my difficulty.

Actually, none of us can say, “MY LIFE.” We are His heirs to the Throne of Grace. And grace means unmerited favor. God has given us these days to comfort one another, laugh with, cry with, and another thing…Think God has a sense of humor? Here I am a 50 year old rancher dad in Wyoming, just happened upon this Fun Advice a little over a week ago, and as I was scrolling along and saw your questions, I just had to say that I do not have any answers, this comes from my heart, pleading to you, from the One, The Only, True Living God who loves you more than anyone else, stay around, maybe the next person you see may be blessed beyond words by the way you cry or laugh with them!

I pray a messenger would be sent to you, to tell you of the Good News of Christ Jesus. Bless you for having the courage to be here. I hope your parents can help, please know that I care! Dan

Answer #12

Peacemakin: See above…again. As you might have surmised, I have one huge passion for evangelism and that is for everyone to KNOW God. Knowing Him intimately as their Abba Father.

That is His way of saying, “Daddy.” Our Holy God, letting us call Him daddy. Awesome! And very rarely, does anything other than God get the AWESOME adjective.

Did, or do you know your dad? Did he sing over you, wrap his loving arms around you and say, “I love you?” Did he tuck you in at night, pray with you, tell you that he loves you no matter what happened during the day? Have a blessed and restful night!

Answer #13

God will NEVER hate any one of us. He does however, hate some of the dumb things we do. REPEAT, NEVER hates the person, just the action. He is actually calling horrormusic/kid and imyselfandme by their respective real names and inviting them to open their hearts to receive Him, at this very instant, between and within every one of their heartbeats, breaths and blinks of their eyes. Of course, He, as a perfect gentleman, will NEVER force Himself upon us. It is truly up to us to receive His perfect gift.

Answer #15

Hi mozz,

I saw from one of your other questions that you’re feeling depressed at the moment, and I guess this is why you’re wondering if God loves you - when things seem at their worst it’s hard to imagine that there’s anyone in control of things who actually cares about you.

Like the other Christians who’ve answered, I believe that God loves you totally and utterly. You were born with Him loving you and that there is nothing you could ever do to make Him love you less. John 3:16 is a good verse to confirm it, as mealw says. Even the beginning of Genesis, where God looks at everything He’s made and says it is good is enough to tell me He loves you - He made you and He thinks you’re Very Good.

But, that doesn’t answer why things feel bad for you at the moment. The Bible doesn’t promise that we’ll always have great times. Jesus (rather obviously) had some very bad times and wasn’t afraid to tell God how He felt - he cried, he asked if God could change things and he asked why God had abandoned him.

When Jesus prayed these anguished prayers he was often quoting from the Psalms, which are seriously emotional poems. In some of them the writers cry to God asking if He even listens, why things are going wrong, why the wicked get the good deals in life etc. I suggest you have a look at some of the Psalms (on the net if you like) and notice how people can be honest with God about their depression and their troubles, but also see how in the midst of their feelings they hold on to the fact that God is great and they can trust Him. Psalm 55 is a relevant one…

Also, I know from my own life and from my friends’ experiences that the dark times aren’t the only times. There are also great things in store for your life, and I believe that being with God will make you appreciate them more and let you find more of them. God made this promise to the the exiled Jews thousands of years ago, but Christians hold it as a promise still today - I believe it’s for you, too: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” That’s in Jeremiah 29 vese 11.

God bless you…

Answer #16

I’m with horrorkid. and confused dont say dont listen to him, he’s got his opinions and you’ve got yours. personally, I believe there is no God but I respect the people who believe there is one (regardless of the fact I think they’re silly) (probably shouldnt have said that but ima leave it anyway) but yea. God doesn’t exist. so he can’t love you. but if it makes you feel better, every religious person out there is going to tell you God loves you no matter what you (unless God-forbid, you do something hell worthy like, I dont know, be gay. then he’ll hate you and you’ll go to hell just because of your sexual preferences)

If pretending God loves you makes you feel better then beleieve it becuase in the end, whatever lets you sleep at night is all it comes down to.

Answer #17

Answer #21

God loves you so much He sent His Son, Jesus to die for you - some info: God being pure cannot even look upon sin - man, even in his very best state is a sinner - on judgement day, either: your sins are covered by the blood-shed sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross (salvation and only salvation - being a nice person isn’t good enough - even at our very best, we are but filthy rags), and remembered no more or they are not (your sins are not covered) - where God’s great love comes into play is, He provided a WAY (Jesus) for us not to perish and live in Heaven with Him (He certainly didn’t have to do this but did because He loved us so) - if you read carefully John 3:16, this is exactly what it says - each person will either accept or reject, you must decide for yourself and yes, it’s so important, it has eternal consequences - He Loves you and wants you to accept God’s free gift to man - Jesus - if you’d like more info please visit my profile…Take care !!
