Homonyms are a good way to show context. Without context we can not be sure which homonym is meant. Context should make it clear:
My car needs a new tire. I tire of walking
I swung a bat at the bat living in my attic. I object to selling that object.

Yes, "content" means "what the conversation is about."
The context would be when and where and why the conversation is taking place, how it came to pass, the situation in which the conversation occurs.
No, they are two different things, say you are having a conversation, content would be what the conversation is about and context would be how it is said
