Does this word sound right?

‘all of which were covert from sight’…

I’ve never used the word ‘covert’ before so I am not sure how to use it in context… bascically I’m using it as another word for concealed…

If you don’t think I’m using it right, please can you suggest a better alternative. Thanks =D

doesn’t sound right to me. I would use something else such as some of the suggestions here:

obscured or hidden would be better choices.

Thanks, I’ve decided to go with hidden instead… alrady used obscured =D
