What are the consequences of this?

I’m 16 and I’m in love with a 21 year old. I have known him since 4th grade and we have this amazing chemistry that I cannot even describe to you in words…In November he was my guitar teacher but we had to quit lessons because of money. We would always hang out and he would pick me up all the time. We never kissed at all or did anything sexual we just liked each other a lot. He told me that “I was his everything” and he wrote like 4 songs for me. We stopped talking for about 4 months because my mom was starting to think we were dating but in March we started hanging out again and it was just like old times. It was amazing. But we both recently agreed that none of our family would approve of the relationship so we don’t text anymore. Whenever we see each other (mostly in church) it hurts just to look at him because I know that I will never get to have him until I’m 18. If our eyes look into each other I instantly feel my heart speed up and I get overwhelmed. We were sitting by each other last Sunday and he kept looking at me and when I looked at him we instantly connected again and I saw a longing in his eyes. It’s heartbreaking for me.

Answer #1

As long as there is no sexual relationship…there are no consequences. Just remember the moment things get sexual he can be charged as a sexual ofender for the rest of his life.

Answer #2

If you guys genuinely love eachother you can wait another 2 years. Cause as mandyloo said if you do anything sexual he can get in A LOT of trouble, and you will then never have a chance to be together again.

Answer #3

I kinda agree with the previous two answers. If you two love each other, you can wait until you’re legal. Actually, I’d strongly advise that you do that not only does he not get in trouble, but then you know if it’s really real. You’re only 16 hun, you’re going to change a LOT by the time you’re 21. Believe me, I’ve been there. I thought I was in love when I was 20 with a guy my age. I was wrong and it took my a few years to realize that. If he would have been my first, I would have regretted it. Be smart.

Answer #4
