Communism and What we Fight for

Everywhere I go I see people rebelling against the country to make things even so the poor arent in poverty and the rich arent relaxing for there money anymore. So everybody has to do the same amount of work no matter what to get the same wage. I also find that most of these people are against communism aswell, I find it kind of ironic because thats what communism is, is a country that equally shares everything, where everybody pulls there own weight for their country. My questions is what are peoples opinions or thoughts on all this? Do you think people think about how hypicritical they are being everytime they say F* Bush or the government in power? Just looking for opinions because I find it all interesting.

Thanks Ciao

my thoughts about this: The one mistake I think people in the U.S. mistake the most is that they feel their Gov’t is the best in the world. There are many countries that have more freedom than in america. The one thing america does better than most of those countries is freedom of speech (which in the last 7 years under Bush as taken hits).

Politically we are down the line in Countries, for example most countries can easily get rid of the leader (meaning out of office), we can’t. Now.. About ecomony. I want you to remember one thing - Why most of the country suffers in recession. The rich become richer, they can buy stock lower and later sell it for more once the economy starts going back up, they have support to cut wages to freeze wages while maintaining their level of pay and kickbacks. An example was McQuire at United Healthcare who in one year gave himself a 1.6 billion dollar raise.. and yes you read that correctly - I said Billion!

Please remember that America does have some socialism. Medicare, Medicaid, EPA, Min Wage, requirements for health insurance full-time employees. All these things are a form of socialism, that are overlooked by most in America, personally I would like healthcare to all. Every industrial nation has that except us.

I think the biggest fault in our country is that we allow special interest groups/Companies in politics and that decides the policies that the people live by. In reality, if the gov’t worked the way it was suppose to work, it would be the other way around.

I do not like the gap between the wealthy and the poor. because soon we will might find ourselves in a position of being like China - where there is only two societies - Poor & Rich, I figure in the next 50-75 years this might happen, if we continue the path we are currently seeing. To find out who runs the gov’t - just look at the money being given to the candiates. Also notice one other thing.. There is only 1 out of 2 people that can win to be President.. In that text - there is another form of socialism… If you are not Democrat/Republican. You stand no backing from Gov’t, which gives money to both of those parties during election years. Troy*

okay, it’s kind of hard to understand your question but here goes… I don’t think there are many in this country who still believe that communism is viable. most have seen and understand that it looks good on paper, but does not work, especially in this country. okay, I don’t get the part about bush. are you saying that no one should dislike him? we currently have a president that has lied to enter us into a horrible, fruitless war, has worked to trample on civil rights, placed unqualified friends into positions of authority (FEMA for example) that has lead to even more diasters, and so on. if these answers are not in the vein you wanted, please clarify.
