Answer #1

I think it’s fine to have good fun as long as it doesn’t cross over the line into sexually suggestive.

Answer #2

yes I ok to dances I dance and got to church I learn a lot of thing when I dance in the church or out in of the church. so I think it ok

Answer #3

The definition of dancing is: to move ones feet, body, or both rythmically in a pattern to compliment music. that is what the dictionary says anyway. Personaly, dirty dancing is not dancing. which is probably not admired by the holy bolys so… .I have danced all my life, owned my own dance studio, and still take classes to improve and its kind of insulting to have people think dancing in a club is dancing. Of course in the dictionary they are correct but I am sort of offended considering all of real dancers hard work and talent.. but whatever. its all about intention. Thats how god works. if you have pure intent, then its a good thing to experiance fun and happiness. but if the thoughts you are having are to seduce that guy you have been eyeballing for the whole night then your intentions are probably not the best. Do what makes you happy and others.

Answer #4

I hope it is oky to dance everybody does I mean if nobodys nods there head if I had to say yes because it just good to dance

Answer #5

As far as I am concerned, its ok by me. I love to dance; it is great excercise and one of my hobbies. Some of the coolest people dance. Just watch “DANCING WITH THE STARS.” HELLO, I am sure a lot of the stars and even the pros are probably christians so why not.

Answer #6

Read Galations 5:16-25 Talks about sinful cravings. Dancing is not sinful, but if your in the wrong place doing it, it can lead to sin. So just be cautious, first get strong in what you believe in and always have your priorities straight. I love dancing also, I don’t do it much anymore, but I see it as good exercise and of course fun. Just carry yourself accordingly. God doesn’t want us to be unhappy christians, so don’t take the fun out of being one. One ex. is: if you go out to a nightclub frequently and you know that, you might be tempted to do something other than dancing, then of course that might lead you to sin. Good luck in your christian journey.

Answer #9

the word says they praised him with singing and dancing.. :)

Answer #10

That was all very good advice! I think what Silverwings means is that sometimes we are OK with something and it doesn’t tempt us to do anything wrong, but we need to bear in mind that we might accidentally be tempting someone else, so just watch out for that… But she can answer it herself anyway!

Answer #11

I love music, and when I dance, it is usually at home. If I am out dancing, I try at a)not be dressed in an inappropriate way, b)not dance in an inappropriate way, and c)have fun. I do not believe that if your motives aren’t to entice the guys, or look like a hoochy mama, but just to dance, dance. God gave us the ability to love music and to dance. So, do so to His glory, even out in public, for your spirit can dance with joy in silent praise to Him and I think people enjoy watching someone who loves to dance dance, even if they aren’t any professional. Be happy for your love - what your heart loves was put there by Him. My vote is, it’s ok.

Answer #12

I love to dance, before I was saved, and after I was saved, and I agree with Amblessed, that dancing ought not be suggestive in nature, and also with Paco. There are ways to enjoy ourselves, without bringing disgrace to the stand that we have taken for Christ. We also have to take in account others in the body that might be offended by our liberty, Paul speaks of that, and says that we are do nothing to hurt a weaker brother, or to cause him to stumble.

Answer #13

Dancing, Singing, Speaking, Laughing, Crying, Sitting, Standing, Walking, and lot more… These all abilities are given by god for us to do it… Just do it…

There is nothing wrong in doing something which you feel to do it.

If you feel so, you can never do anything…

you are the first person to whom I replied after signing up... :o) don't worry be happy... don't care, don't spare. live the life as you like... I do the same.
