well can blind people see in there dreams I always wanted to know
Perhaps if at one point in their lifetime they were not blind then they could probably see in their dreams. But if they've been blind all their life, then they probably have dreams just like how they live. A dream isn't just about sight, its about other senses as well... touch, smell, hearing, and taste. So I could definitely predict that blind people can have dreams without vision. It would just be completely black, just like they see in the day time. But this is a really fascinating point.
hope this answers your question.
Their is a psychology term used when refiring to the mind called ther 'visual sketchpad.' This is the part of the mind that enables you to visulise images. Im assuming that the visual sketchpad is also responsible for dreams; if that is the case, then it would depend on if that part of the mind is functional, for them to see images in their dreams.
That is so confusing... like even if they think about a picture while their awake and never seen before... Can they really see that picture? Or how can they imagine what you look like if they dont know what look is? weird.
If at one point they had vision, yes, it's possible for visualizations in dreams. If they were born blind, they would probably dream of sensations, but no visuals.
hmm...I don't know..I would think so because they are not actually using their eyes to see. they are picturing images in their heads. So I'm now quite sure...
just because people are blind it doesnt meant they just see black. someone I know went blind and they said it looks like they are looking at cotton wool.
yes they can see in there dreams as long as they have had sight before going blind
it's kinda like could a blind person be scared of the dark ?! 0.o .. hahaahha.
theirs a good chance as long as they did have sight at some point in their life
