How can I go back to blonde and not orange?

Im a natural blonde. But I dyed it dark brown and now I want to go back to blonde. I went to salon the other day and now it looks orangish!! what do I do?

My daughter did the exact same thing. She is a natural blond and she dyed her hair BLACK!! Now she is trying to go back blond. The salon told her she would have to do it in steps, but that she probably would not get rid of the red altogether. Another salon told her to get a toner. You can at least try the toner. My daughter’s going to try it this weekend. She has gotten it as light as strawberry blond. It looks ok, though, but it feels like straw. Be careful, whatever you decide to do.
