What do you think about the bill being passed to pretty much end Planned Parenthood?

Thats horrible.Kids get in these situations and where are they gonna go?Thery shouldn’t have gotten themselves in these situations but they did and now they need somewhere to plan out parenthood.

planned parenthood makes billions but gets only 14mill from feds. theylll do just fine…but wont want to spend thier own cash helpin women in need just profitting on people who pay..they should subsidise the underprivllaged themselves…….since they make billions a year..fed dosent make anything just spend …

NO, repeat, NO federal funds are used to pay for abortions. It all goes for other things, like disease prevention, STD treatment, ob-gyn exams, health exams, etc. And most Planned Parenthood clinics do not do abortions - in part because the so called Pro-Life people (the ultra-extreme ones) threaten to kill doctors, nurses, volunteers, and others who work or go to the clinics.

The bill passed in the Republican controlled House but will fail in the Democratically controlled Senate.

AND the defunding bill was - in part - the result of a heavily edited, and misleading video put out by LIVE ACTION, along with lies told by that same group concerning what THEY called Planned Parenthood’s “willingness to aid and abet sexual exploitation of minors.” - which PP absolutely and categorically does not do. For a so-called ‘Ethical’ group, LIVE ACTION sure seems to be using unethical methods and dirty tricks!!

It is awful. Most of the services that they offer have a lot more to do with women’s health than with abortion, but the people voting to get the bill passed are overlooking that. Women need a place where they can feel safe and like they aren’t being judged. It’s really terrible.
