If I jump while holding weights at my side will it help build calf muscle? (at home)
besides the fact that you might hurt yourself, jumping does not isolate youe calve muscles. Do heel raises, holding dumbells at your shoulder, resting your elbows on your ribs.this way you are not tempted to push up the weights, and holding them streight down, you may be tempted to pull up as in trapezoid raises.
possibly but your more likly to injure yourself if you try it to strengthen your calf muscles, just do calf raises stand up, then lift your heels up and stand, then bring them down repeat for a while
yea man don't do it with weights you can get hurt badly
