mandyloo and serinaty; you both make some good points. Thank you for being mature with your comments to one another. Seeing adults act like adults is refreshing! To answer the question, I do believe that Obama will have some positive effects on your economy, but it is not a one man job. The whole country needs an overhaul.

Sorry, I disagree. Yes, it may have started a while back, but it got back during Bush’s term and we sunk into a heavy depression, things were not so bad before.

He is going to have to. I do think he will, as he has been busy ever scince he has gotten into office. During the televised debates, he gave me hope.

Yes, although I dont think he can do it in just one term in office. I think things will get fixed, but we are in such a crisis thanks to Bush, that it’s going to take a lot of time, hard thinking, and hard work to get us back on our feet again. No one can do something like that over night.

The Depression was not started by Obama or Bush it started in 1913 when the FEDs got permission to start printing money, the depression has been going on for a very long time just hasn’t been very bad until recently.

If you look around and see what all is now in control of the United States of America then you will see what is going on.. The FEDs are in control of a lot of things they shouldn’t be in control of…like the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) they regulate the food market and tell you what you can and can not sell. So lets say I have the best healthy food you can get, if they don’t pass it then I won’t be able to tell anyone about it or sell it or anything…they also put a lot of things in there food they shoudn’t.

Not trying to argue I just wanted to put down my statement because I am very tired of people blaming this on Bush.
