Is it a bad thing if you cant get to sleep?

Get off the computer first of all. You need peace and quiet, not a giant glowing white thing in front of your face, it makes it harder to sleep when you use a computer before bed. Try reading or something.

Is there some kind of tension or something that you are thinking which is not letting you sleep or is this just because you can’t sleep without any reason? Sleeping is important for the body,for energy and for freshness.The best way i can find out to work hard all day,doing sports..walking and hanging out,not just sitting.This will make you more tired and every person sleeps when they are tired.Secondly,you should eat well at night and then you may read a book to sleep.If there is some kind of tension,try to think of something else or just watch tv.

yea you are right.. thier is a lot of stress and tension that im going through..ill try what you say and see if it works, but i do a lot during the day with dance,volleyball,and cheerleading pratice and working so i have a lot that i do…

Try some deep breathing thru your nose….breath in slowly…breath out slowly…inbetween hold it to the count of five. You’ll feel the tension roll out of your body.

Personally, I can’t get to sleep because my head if filled up with too much crap. I make lists of things to do tomorrow, things to buy, things to save for, what I need to do at work tomorrow etc and it helps me fall asleep when my brain knows it can forget those things as I have written them down.

It is normally a bad thing for the body to go without sleep for a long period of time. This can cause your body to feel more fatigued or even sick at times. Sleep deprivation can also cause you to not function like a sane person. This might include thinking logically or even doing certain actions. Going long periods without regular sleep can also cause mood swings.

As Yashica said, try to do some heavy work. Make your body feel fatigued intentionally to tell you to sleep. If you’re finding it difficult to sleep for no reason, then I would suggest seeing a doctor about it.

i suggest Yoga classes .. it helps i think u need to get away from your town to a natural place, try new things (i don’t mean crazy things !! just new legal things :P) .. or, if there’s something in your mind i think you need to speak out to a good friend ..

Cultured yogurt, bananas, relaxing for at least 1 hour before bed, going to bed only when tired and getting up at a fixed alarm time. Eat at least 3 hours before bed, not sooner if you can avoid it. This is all long term so give it a few days at least.

I do stuff on or watch a movie on my computer before bed I don’t see what the problem is with it.
