Back pain wont go away

I broke my collar bone in november of 2006,the two ends of the bone were out of alignment and overlapping. I thought I needed an operation (it was broken in two places) but I didn’t get one. Since the accident, I’ve been getting really bad back , shoulder and neck pains, and the doctors wont give me advice at all, they keep saying it’s normal (well… I live in Québec we have a crapy medical system) and that it will go away in time but it keeps getting worse…and the area where it broke still hurts a lot, and often. If it happened to any of you I’d like to know how it turned out, please! Thanks in advance :)

I’m not sure what doctors you are seeing, but how can they say it is normal if you have bones overlapping and out of alignment? Have you thought of taking a trip out of the country to get it looked at by someone else? A lot of people go overseas now for surgery because it’s cheaper and the health care is better. Just a thought. Sometimes doctors tell you things are “normal” or blow you off when they just don’t want to admit that they don’t know what to do…you know, they might have a big ego. I’ve been to a lot of doctors for physical problems with my back, legs, etc. If you sense a doctor isn’t listening to you, don’t take their advice. You know if something is wrong. It’s your body. If the doctor doesn’t recognize that you know your body better than anyone, something is wrong with that doctor. Good luck
