Any suggestions on how to make a 3yr old occupied?

This is the first time I’m babysitting …

3 year olds are so much fun! Try: building with blocks, playing with play dough, or making a fort out of blankets. Most little kids love playing “pretend” too. If you go outside, you could have races or play tag. Find out what interests the kid has, then go from there.

3 year olds are great. This is one of the funnest ages ever, and it would be such a shame to dump him/her in front of a tv and leave him there. If you’re babysitting, interract with him. My advice is to keep the TV right out of the picture. He can watch 6 hours of that a night when he’s 22, why rush it?

They love to be read books to, they love to play in sand, they love to chatter away… walks in the park, being pushed on a swing, throw a ball, you may end up having more fun than the child.. enjoy the experience!
