American accent?

I’m from canada, and generally we have the same accents, but I know a few girls from Louisiana and I swear I can’t understand half the things they are saying! I however, like the NY accent, and the southern georgia accent (y’all) is so cute.

well it really depends, I live in the usa, and it is really sloppy, theres a lot of slang, I dont really like it. I like the brittish accent, and sometimes chinese

Well, it varies, of course, and I like that. I like to hear different accents and try to work out where someone comes from - we do that all the time in the UK and you can do it with American accents too. I’m sure a lot of people think it’s cool, because of all the TV, films and music we hear from the US. I don’t think of it as sloppy at all - it generally sounds friendly to me.
