Answer #1

there isnt actually an american accent most states talk different take someone from texas and put them in New york and it would sound different… some people in different states can’t understand people that come from certain states so you can’t really group all of it into an american accent

Answer #2

I’m from New Zealand and I must admit I like British and English accents more than Americans.

Its quite funny though, how most of our TV shows here are from America so when I do hear a real person with an American accent it dosent really sound different because I’m so used to hearing it on TV. But we don’t have many British or English Shows so when I hear those accents I can really tell lol.

Answer #3

That’s ignorant to say everyone in the states has a texas accent, or slang. People in TEXAS have that. I heard some think it’s attractive, and then some think it’s funny. It’s the same as we think of others with accents. Some sound stupid and some are cool. What can you do? I’m an american and I do not have a texas accent, thanks.

Answer #4

I like them all! @p74e I don’t think it’s nice to laugh at someone’s accent just because it’s different to yours.

I’m English and have heard a lot of Americans like our accent lol.

Answer #5
