5th Harry Potter movie verses the book...

Ok, does this make anyone else mad? I just watched the 5th Harry Potter movie, (yes, I know kinda dumb but oh well), and anyway… There’s this part in the movie where Harry is on his way to Platform 9 and 3 quarters. Know what I’m talkin’ about? And Sirius takes him into this room and gives him the picture of all of the people in the old Order of the Pheonix, right? (actually, in the book he gave him the picture at his house.) Anyway… While they’re looking at the picture, Harry’s all like, oh and there are Neville’s parents - the ones who Voldemort tortoured to madness. BUT in the book, Harry doesn’t find out what happened to Neville’s parents until AFTER they are at Hogwarts and Mr. Weasley is attacked. That makes me mad! What do you think? Why don’t the movies ever get it right?

Answer #1

I’ve never seen that movie, but I have seen others and read the books. The movie sometimes is different. I get mad too! Well, maybe it’s to make the movie more interesting…

Answer #2

There are a TON! of mistakes in that $hitty movie. It makes me mad, but there’s nothing we can do, right? Long live Harry Potter!
