Should I begin my family if I have arthritis?

I’m 19, and I have arthritis throughout my body. Me and my boyfriend just bought a house, and now were wondering if we move to the next step. Since I have semi severe arthritis, but right now its in remission. Slowly I notice it coming back, were wondering if we try for a child now, were ready for one, both mentally and financaly. But in no hurry, but I want to be able to play with my children when I get older and not be to sore or tired to play with them. So im stuck on what we do? I need advice, I’ve seen doctors about this and they said it all depends on your body and blah blah blah. please give advice

Hi,

I wish there was a way we could tell you to do it or not to do it. But it’s really up to you and how you feel. Can you go on walks and be active without pain? See your activity tolerance levels and then try to gauge if you could reasonably run after a 2-year-old for most of the day. Or, consider getting a Nanny in case you relapse.

I feel like utter crap after I take a walk because of said bad back. :(
