Can cancer run through families?

I don’t know if this is a stupid question or not, but quite a few of my family members have had or died from cancer, and I am quite worried if I might get it. Does it run through families?

yes it does run throught your family…my bestfriends grandmother and mother had it and now shes telling me she proably will to so yes…

Yeah cancer is usually a genetic disease. See if you can see a doctor to get checked out somehow, and find if you do have cancer, sometimes they might not detect anything until its contrentrated or detectable unfortunatly…

Cancer is not a ‘genetic disease’. However, yes, having a family history increases your chances of getting cancer.
