Was Lady Gaga's sermon at a recent Vancouver concert hypocritical?

During the concert, Lady Gaga went on a spiel, telling her fans that they don’t need to feel bad if they’d ever been told they aren’t beautiful or charismatic enough to be successful, and that they should be proud of who they are. It’s a great message, but when Lady Gaga, herself, hides behind elaborate costumes and stage gimmicks, is she being hypocritical?

Answer #1

I dont believe so. I dont see it as Gaga hiding behind costumes or gimmicks though. I see it as her saying that you can be beautiful in any way, shape, or form and you shouldnt be afraid to be different than the rest.

Answer #2

I don’t believe so. I don’t think she is “hiding” behind her costumes. I think her costumes are a part of her, and a way to express herself.

Answer #3

i think she just wants to show her individuality and that she wants people to know she is different and also i think it is for the publicity to say she is different …. also i don’t believe soo :)
