What is wrong with my camera and how can i fix it?

I have a kodak easy share M340 and i have only had it for a year. When I turn it on it will only stay on for a split second before turnng itself back off. I bougt a new battery in case that was the problem but it’s still doing the same thing and I have no more ideas on how to fix it.

Instead asking people who aren’t professionals, maybe you should take it to a friend (who is a professional in electronics) or take it to get a free diagnosis. If you try to fix it yourself you might 1). Break it or 2). Cause an even bigger problem which will cost more money if you decide to go get it fixed. Just take it to an electronic store and see what they say. :]
