What do you think about World War II and what Hitler did to the Jewish population?

Answer #1

I think he was overwhelmed with power.

Answer #2

Lets just say it was not nice.

Answer #3

overwise he would av been a nice guy? power just got to him?

Answer #4

No, power mixed with a bit of insanity. He was a evil genious though.

Answer #5

it’s just such a horrifying thing that’s hard to believe actually happened and is a big part of history… It’s scary that one insane, horrible, disgusting human being had so much power and it’s scary to think that he actually thought that he was doing good for the world. It’s really scary that so many people agreed with his ideas and followed him. They wiped out millions of Jews… I’m just so glad that nothing like that is happening right now… Last night I watched some of the Pianist, it’s a movie about the holocaust, and it’s so hard to watch at times…. I wouldn’t even call Hitler human. I always say that The only good thing about Hitler was that he killed Hitler.

Answer #6

Horrible. He was the worst kind of sociopath.

Answer #7

World War II took many lives for those that tried to do good - but the real tragedy was the german and jews who lost so much. Yes we lost many good men and women because of wars - wars for politicians who sit on the bench as the young and old die and suffer. People do not cause wars, governments do. Hitler was a brilliant man but extremely insane because of the means in which he went about to advance our medical and socieities current use - Power corrupted the man and let the evil live - however, it was the rich of that country that allowed that man to become so powerful and then did nothing to stop him - Obama anyone?

Answer #8

Something everyone should understand is that the German people are not monsters; they just human like everyone else. They were manipulated into believing that they were chosen by God to lead the world and that Jews, trade unionists, homosexuals, and blacks were subhuman and the cause of all their problems. Whenever you hear politicians claiming to know the will of God, that our nation is singularly good and righteous among all nations, and that unpopular minorities are the cause of our problems remember that this is how it all started in NAZI Germany.

Answer #9

No-one ever seems to talk about how evil Stalin or Mao-Tse-Tung were. They killed far far more, between them perhaps close to 100 million or more.

Answer #10

He was bad but how was he worse than Stalin, or Mao?

Answer #11

If you don’t think bad things are occurring right here and now in the world, under your nose, you are being very naiive. Take a look at China today, and the average working conditions in a factory, and the small violations people are shot for. Take a look at India, where over 14,000 people were killed by police in just one year. Have you read anything about North Korea? I could go on but it would take hours. lol. Just trying to open your eyes a bit.

Answer #12

I think you are missing the point. It isn’t the magnitude of the machinations that make the monster… it’s the mustache. It is far too… feel good… [for lack of a suitalbe adjective] to jump on board the apotheosis of cause célèbre… than to actually think about the larger scope of things. It is simple… Hitler was evil… his Hitler hair cut and the swastika arm band tell me so. In contrast… nothing anyone else does can ever be as evil… because it will never be as fashionable to vilify anyone else. If in fact… you receive the nobel peace prize before you oversee the bombardment of another country… you will forever be adorned for your beneficence… with a wink towards the obama zombies. We reserve the right… as Americans… to relax these rules if and when we choose to drone-drill Mad Mahmoud in the skull before he can become the next Hitler… or for having the audacity to stand up to the international banksters… same difference.
