I did it and I loved it. You get to meet new people. The tips are great and the people are nice. ( So long as you get them a table)
You’re not going to get paid nearly as much as a waiter (unless the restaurant pools tips to be shared?)…but I guess it’d be a lot easier than being a waiter, since most of the time you’re taking people to their tables, instead of taking orders and carrying food.
Still, it always seemed like “easy” work to me so if that’s what you’re after then it’s alright.
