sorry, didn't read closely enough. In the 1980's women wore shoulder pads to make their shoulders look broader. It was certainly considered a good look then and women wanted broader shoulders than they were born with. These went of fashion in the 1990's but seem to be making a resurgence. I really wouldn't worry about it.
No, most women like broad shoulders. Sometimes it is inconvenient like when you fly since the seats are narrow but overall it is a plus.
Why say that! My sister's shoulder is wider than me, so she can hold the dress with cap sleeves!
