Should I become Wiccan and learn Celtic?

should I become wiccan and learn celtic ?

Answer #1

Learn Celtic? Do you know what Celtic is? Irish and Scottish people are Celtic Kinda like People of Germany and Austria and Germanic As for witchcraft tradition do you plan to follow. Gardinian, frost. dianic, Scottish, teutanic solitary ecletic, Ect The solitary and Eclectic are actually the hardest while seeming to be the easiest. Gardinian and dianic are actually the oldest while frost ( considered outsiders by more traditional wiccans.) are more public. In truth the actual religion is Witchcraft while those practicing are refered to as wica/Wicca Male \ wice/wicce female meaning wise man and wise woman. the titles are old anglo-Saxon in origan. yes underwaterophelia Witchcraft has 2 sides a religions side and the Science side/ the craft. . My suggestion if your going to follow the old way is to find gardinia coven and learn it correctly. Or better yet, Read your Bible. I left the craft over 10 years ago.

If it were me, No - I believes it is of Evil influence - let him in a little bit and his fingerprints will quickly be all over your life….my understanding from all I have read.

Answer #3

Make sure you have good reasons/intentions for going into Wicca. Before you decide it’s the path for you, do some research (if you already have not) And it would also be helpful to find someone to help you that is already familiar with it. Not everything you read is credible and having someone with experience to decipher it all is great.

Answer #4

The real deifnition of being a “wiccan” has nothing to do with being evil. back ina couple of hundred years ago wiccans use to be plant doctors, they use to make herbal medicine , until that is people started to view them as witches and being evil and they hung wiccans by their necks , left them there for weeks. Thats why most of the wiccan religion has a grudge. to answer the ur question it is all up to you i am catholic but iam open minded and try to learn all religion before making judgement.always do ur research. hoped this helped Kinaloveangel

Answer #5

You SHOULD do what feels right for you, but if you want to become wiccan, then you must first study & learn the religion. It takes a Year & a day of training to become Wiccan. Study the Mytholigy, Wheel of the year, their laws, what spells castin gis, how to properly do it, etc You cannot just go into it & cast spells & crap, it’s not like the movies & can be dangerous if you don’t know what you are doing. If you need help in your learnings contact me.

Answer #6

if you want to become wiccan then you do it cause you want to, you don’t ask others opinions… the fact that you are means that you don’t know and if you don’t know then don’t.

Answer #7

Actually, Kindaloveangel, some of your information is incorrect.
See, a lot of people confuse Wiccans with Witches, and really, they’re two completely different things.

A Wiccan is someone who practices Wicca, but not necessarily Witchcraft. Wicca was popularized by a man named Gerald Garder in 1954, and there is no evidence that Wicca comes earlier than even the 1920s. Wicca, unlike Witchcraft, is an actual religion, complete with pre-set beliefs and practices. Witchcraft is not a religion, it is a collection of practices which pre-date Christianity.
