Why won't my laptop connect to the internet:(?

Everything is working, but when I turn my internet connection switch on, the little light stays off and I don’t get internet.

It just started acting like that last night for no reason..

Help!!! I need it for school :O Thank you!

so the lappy wont work wirelessly from the router?

do you have another lappy or can you borrow 1 to see if you can conect via wireless to teh router to be sure its teh router thats faulty? :S

k I used another laptop and that one works… we used PSPs too, those work, I’m almost positive it’s the laptop.. =/

Yeah, I use a router.. the reason why I think it’s the laptop is because when the ‘internet connection switch’ is on, a little blue light will be on. Now, the switch is on, the little blue light isn’t, and I don’t get internet.

I took an internet cable and plugged it in (router to laptop) and it works. =/

Contact you’re internet provider and have them check it out, you probably shouldn’t turn it off all the time. that could be the issue.

I don’t, and it’s not the internet, it’s my laptop. My laptop gets internet with a cable, the wireless just isn’t working. ..

reset the router is the 1st thing id do…

if thats how your connected?
