Why the white pupil in photo help!?

I was looking at some pics taken of me last night and in one I noticed the white eye effect that people talk about. Basically my left pupil was white. I am 21 and have never noticed this in any other pics of me. I have heard it can be a detection of eye cancer although the one they mentioned the most is only found in children.

I am really paranoid now and yes I am gonna go doctors monday but as it is saturday and they arent open I am seeing if anyone on here has had a similiar thing happen? Xx

I’ve never had that happen to me or anybody in our family from taking photos…hopefully the doctor gave you good news when you talked to them.

Yes thankfully it was nothing i got it checked out but all was fine and the optician reckoned it was just the flash hitting my eye at an angle. :)
