Why is my mom making me feel fat?
My mom Never did call me fat but she keeps saying I eat a lot and I need to slow down and Sh*t.And we had bought some ice cream like 4 days ago and it’s gone now.And she blamed it on me.I counld’nt eat that ice cream because it had chocolate in it.And my brother ate it anyway!!Then I had on a Roxy shirt on and I do have a SMALL gut.(Im 13 and I’m 106 Pounds and im 5’2)And she started pointing out that I had a gut and then she started saying how when she was my age she was thin and weighted less then me and stuff.And it’s making me feel insecure about my body,I don’t even like looking in the mirror anymore.Now when I eat I feel like im commiting a sin so I really don’t eat anymore and feel tried.And I know it’s not good for me but I don’t know what to do.Then if I tell my mom she hurt my feelings she’ll get mad and say im overacting! Please Helppp!
well just tell her you’re not overreacting because she’s hurting your feelings.
OMG!!! I know exactly how you feel. My mom started doing that to me too whe I was 11 WHAT EVER you do KEEP eating it doesnt help in the long run I promise take it from someone who knows… Next time your mom says something make a joke about it… Or tell her its your body and you can eat however much you want… is your mom still skinny? if so she herself might have an eating disorder… My mom did she had to go to a hospital over it… My mother ruined how I precieve myself I really hope that your mother doesnt do that to u… Im sure you look great at least you have curvs im sorry but guys dont like no butt or boobs kinda girls… dont worry I promise when you hit about 14 through 16 you will start slimming down you still have your baby fat right now you will be fine in a couple of year… Oh and by the way 106 is NOT OVERWIEGHT… so keep your chin held high, smile, and know your beautiful no matter what!!!
