Why is my hamster loosing hair from his belly?

his gon bold from under his belly…he used to scratch a lot but not no more.

have you checked him for fleas?

unfortunetly this can be a form of diabites or a more normal symtom that lots of hamsters get if that they have a itch that they lick and lick until their is no fur left many animals get this so do not be alarmed

usually when an animal scratches or pecks hair or feathers from himself, to the point of bald patches, this is a sure sign of (temporary?) depression. maybe you need to studdy your hammy for a while and figure out what he needs (:. is he cramped up in there? maybe his house is too full. or maybe he’d like a new toy. maybe he’s fed up of seeing the same thing from day to day and would like a treat or surprise every once in a while! hammies love a fresh slice of apple or carrot! or some more attention! and love (:. or try talking to your hammy. give him positive vibes. pets have feelings too! ^^
