I know that the stereotype is misunderstood and I don't see how it happened but I really dislike it anyways, but I feel like I'm getting into a rant so on to the real question Why is being truly emo by the definition of a group of 47 real people who I hang with which is "a way of dealing with ones feelings or stresses outwardly with someone, and being sensitive to others feelings"we also have a tendency to be at peace with ourselves, unless we have experienced an upsetting or ovewhelming situation then we can be extremely unstable. Also another question is : is it a good idea to go out with a goth girl. I heard they can be very violent/ tempermental
truth is, everyone doesnt because majority of the population has no idea what an "emo" is and most of them couldnt care less for the ones that do... majority of the people who call themselves emo usually have no idea what the word actually means then theres wankers who go around saying emos "cut" there "depressed" ect no anyone can get depressed, because everyones has problems and anyone with problems might self harm if they were lost enough then theres all the little kids who call themselves something they dont understand, or say they must be emo because they happen to be depressed or cut then theres people who are emo and act depressed and cut themselves because thats what they think its all about then there dumb people who go around using the word as an insault ...no one is all going to like one particular lable. because everyone is different and have different tastes, opinions, ect if we all loved and hated the same thing, wed live in a boring world self harm and depression have NOTHING to do with emo or any other lable because feelings and emotions play no part in sterotypes "I heard goth people were violent and temperamental" whoever said that should really be shot because its bullsht like that that just confuses everyone especially people who beleive everything they hear, read or are toldagain, feelings and emotions play NO part in sterotypes if youre going to label yourself, then you have to stick up for yourself dont beleive the bullsht, use your brain and realise that of course not everyones going to like it or what/who you are some people will, some people wont its no big deal because no doubt theres something/someone, ect you love and hate as well
People dislike them because emo's only walk around like that to attract attention and it works, they are attention seekers! Apparently they're all depressed and hate the world! Come on the worlds not that bad!! I don't know one emo who has major real problems!!
I wouldn't say "everyone" hates emo's , you are human beings, and I have nothing against someone expressing themselves according to who they are.
be yourself and don't worry what anyone else thinks.
being a goth doesn't make you violent or tempermantal! everyone is different. and the first part of your question is too confusing.
I dont hate emos. I think emo guys are hottt. :)
