Why do people think it's okay?

I was out swimming at this public place that was really crowded, and my friend and I were in the big pool. There were 3-4 people making fun of me because I’m really tall. (5’11) They were throwing a football at me, and they kept on looking at me and laughing. Why do people make fun of me for something I can’t control? I’m not even done growing yet, and it’s really annoying me. :x

d00d I would be lucky if I were your hieght. dont let it bother you! everyone makes fun of me because I’m soo short and I could care less. but think of it this way. since your going to be so tall you are like model hieght!!!

Answer #2

Probably showing out to try and impress their friends being very immature and rude - ignore and move on, that’s best…Take care !!

Answer #3

If you show them that it bothers you, they win. Don’t pay them any attention. If either of them were alone, do you think they would make fun of you? They do it in groups.

It’s a good thing to be that tall. Models would give anything to be 5’11”.

The next time they throw a football at you, just catch it and throw it back.

Another thing to consider is that you may have thought they were starring at first and because you looked to see if they were starring, they starred back and it just got out of control.

Just mind your business and they will stop if they see you aren’t bothered by them and . . .

Hold your head high!

Answer #4

People that make fun of you are usually jealous. I’m 5’11 and im 16 and im proud to be this tall!! sometimes its annoying because wearing high heels makes you look like a complete giant and people are tiny compared to you. I have a friend who is so short and it makes me look like a giant when I’m with her but I don’t care. People who make fun of your height are sad pathetic loosers who need to get a life. don’t let your height bother you. it’s just a height, and it makes you stand out. don’t be upset by it and don’t get upset by the stupid idiots that are making fun about you.

don’t change for anyone else, if they are making fun of you, they want you to scrunch up and be small. don’t. be who you are and be proud.

xx

because a lot of people are idiots making fun odf someone else makes them feel better about themselves, more important, better about the way they look ect and those poeple are close-minded isiots that dont have anything better to do usually its a faze though once there out of there stressful teenage years they tend to see all the crap they did back then didnt matter and wasnt necessary you on the other hand should popay no attention to it youve got more important things to do with your time than spend it worrying abouyt what a few dumb people think be proud of who you are

Answer #6

Answer #7

sweetheart, I’m 5’11- 6’.. and let me tell you, I use to hate it. I use to walk all scrunched up because I was so tall and everyone was so tiny, but let me tell you… when girls like us walk into the room, we call attention. tall women are beautiful.

let those short guys hate on you, who cares ? you got inches on them.

Answer #8

You should have stepped on them and crushed them between your toes.

…sorry…, couldn’t resist.

I agree with suzyboo. Tall women command attention. That’s why models are all 6’+.
