Why do lower ab exercises, shouldn't I work my whole stomach?

Why do lower ab exercises, shouldn’t I work my whole stomach? I was looking around to see if anybody else had this problem, and came across an old question where somebody was asking about lower ab exercises…why would they want to just work their lower ones, shouldn’t they work the whole stomach?

I’m having some issues, and feeling pretty bad about my recent weight gain…it’s not the upper stomach, the lower abs, but the whole gut that needs to do. Please help. Thanks.

There are three main muscle groups / sections to your abdominal area: upper abs, lower abs, and the obliques, which are the side muscles. You need to work all three to obtain maximum results. Good luck trimming the waistline.
