Why did God make humans with flaws?

First off, please please don’t start yelling because I’ve noticed that a lot in these sort of questions. I’m just asking because I have this debate thing for my English class, and I’m not sure where I stand because I’m not a really religious person and I’ve never really thought about this kinda things before so I just wanted to hear some different points of view. Thanks.

Answer #1

Quite honestly, if we were all perfect, this world would be a REALLY boring place.

Answer #2

dont argue wit what god made!!!

Answer #3

Have you been assigned a side in the debate? Are there fixed sides, or can you just argue your opinion?

Answer #4

He designed people like you with free will that are different, thus he could of created us similar as well. I think your giving your God too little credit, He’s GOD he couldn’t changed the slightest thing to have us be believers as you. Again, he’s all knowing, why didn’t he prevent it? If apple was the forbidden fruit, why did he even make it?

Answer #5

God could have designed us to be robots…

however, that is not what he wanted.

He gave us freewill…

Because he desires a people for himself…

that will choose his way…

over the normal human way.

All the flaws you speak of, came after man sinned against Gods will,

in the garden.

Answer #6

“”dont argue wit what god made!!!”” in other word “dont question just believe”

humans have flaws because we have natural tendies that still conflict social contract. these tendise come form or days of less intellegence as more primate like creatures.

I don’t believe God made us at all in fact a agree that we made God and therefore he is flawed

Answer #7

its not god, its us.. I agree with zechariahdanger, if he did its up against to us on how we will handle it..its like sort of a test if he really did or if thats the case.. its like if he created all of us rich people then no one would eat, no one would do the harvesting, we need diversity in order to live…do you get me? thats just me..

Answer #8

did he? or did human beings create this flaw themselves? I am religious by no means but I think with the nature of human beings and from what I myself have experienced and seen
I think all of our problems should rest on our shoulders and our shoulders alone.. that is to say

Answer #9

This is my understanding and belief: Original mankind (Adam / Eve) did not have flaws and lived in a perfect place, the Garden of Eden - They disobeyed God which resulted in sin coming into mankind’s life - God cannot even look upon sin - God loved mankind enough to create a solution whereby mankind can once again live in perfect union with Him - that solution: a free gift of Salvation through Jesus - His sacrifice on the cross, paid mankind’s sin debt once it (Salvation) is accepted, that person has been bought with a price and eternity-fate secured with a Heavenly home - so, at creation, humans did not have flaws.

Answer #10

and “heaven” would be a boring place as well. thus my conclusion- no god. and our “flaws” oftentimes are not “flaws” but that which makes us “unique” and different- the way natural selection / evolution intented. to find “flaws” in something is to pass judgement- we all do not see with the same set of eyes- what may be a flaw to one person- will be brilliant engineering to another. I simply prefer to live my life- and be me.

Answer #11

Ablessed, he’s all knowing, wehy didn’t he prevent that from happening, why did he even create the tree at all? I believe if the biblical God is real & we were made in his image then it would only make since that he be flawed too when you think about it.

But I don’t believe in God, Humans made God thus God is flawed too & really it depends on what you think if flawed really.

Answer #12

im not a religious person and I dont beleive any “god” created us hopefully your english class has another option for people who dont beleive thats how humans were created, or is at least open minded to other points of veiw if it were me, id simply say “god” does not exist, and humans wernt created from nothing so if your not religious, dont feel pressured into thinking about god if you dont want to because there are far more non religious answers to your question the only religious veiw youll ever get is simply because “god did it”

Answer #13

we made god
