Why are some people born evil?

People aren’t born evil. For example serial killers were exposed to severe abuse as children and that caused certain physiological problems. The way people choose to respond to certain things can also cause them to become evil.

Have you noticed that history has a way of making the losers look evil. You’re looking at almost a million people being killed from the Afghanistan and Iraq war. Millions are homeless and there are millions of orphans. Does that make Bush evil? And none of those leaders went around individually killing millions of people. Was everyone who worked for them evil?

Now, back to your question of whether people are born evil or become evil. Well first of all, you’d have to define evil. Which is subjective and based on culture. In the west, pedophiles are viewed as evil. In certain countries, females get married at the age of 12 or 13. So… What exactly is evil? Lets use a generally Western definition of a lacking of empathy. It is believed that some people are just born without the ability to be empathetic. There are some people who due to terrible environments become ‘evil’, but more commonly, the people who have antisocial personality disorder (psychopaths) are born that way and their environment works towards facilitating that. There’s a difference in their brains. Lower impulse control. Disregard for rules. Etc etc.
