who pierced there own septum?? im thinking bout doing it myself

Here’s the deal - you DON’T pierce ANYTHING yourself. Only a true moron would even THINK about doing ANY piercing by their self. Piercings are meant to be done PROFESSIONALLY… no matter what. If you pierce it yourself, chances are you’ll end up with infections, it won’t heal up correctly, and you probably won’t even pierce it right to begin with. Don’t listen to ANYONE giving you tips on how to do this yourself. Seriously, they’re full of sh*t. They’re NOT professionals and they DON’T know what they’re doing. Neither do you for that matter. If they would claim to be a professional piercer, ignore them because they’re lying. If they were truly a professional, they’d be saying “DON’T EVER do ANY piercing yourself. ALWAYS get your piercings done by a PROFESSIONAL like myself”.

Listen to my advice, I know what I’m talking about. You WILL regret doing it yourself and you’ll be wishing like hell you would have gotten it done professional. It’ll be well worth the price and you won’t be sorry, I promise. By getting it done professionally, you will KNOW it’s done right and you will have a VERY LOW risk of infection if you care for it properly that is. So seriously, DON’T DO IT YOURSELF. Get it done by a PROFESSIONAL.

dont be an idiot and do it yourself your likley to get it crooked, get an infection and put something stupid in there that shouldnt be in there, which will also prolong healing time if you cant be bothered to get a hole in your flesh profesionally done then you should be getting on AT ALL a peircing is not an accessory, its a wound schools with a dress code wont allow them and most jobs consider facial peircings unnatractive and unprofesional so theres a lot more to consider here than just “I want one it looks cool” be smart, use your brain, im sure you have one just save up $60 bucks and get it profesionally done its not that hard

I would suggest not to pierce it urself but if you do makesure you know what your doing. the needle and ring are sterlized and u could do numbing if you want and makesure you clean it with alcohol, soap and water, or ointment and u should be fine.

I have a friend who piercing their own… she thinks shes an idiot for doing it though… It got like crazy infected, and she had to go in for surgery to get it removed…

Seeing crap like that makes you second think about doing it yourself…

About last month she got it re-pierced but professionally. Apparently it hurts a lot more to do it yourself as well (even with the scar tissue)(Since its an akward spot, you cant see it that well, it’s sensitive, and is generally one of the more painful piercings…) It’s honestly just in your best interest to get it done professionally.

Good luck, hope you do the smart thing…

I wouldn’t suggest piercing it yourself as it could go very wrong. It’s an awkward place to get pierced so I’d just pay to get it done professionally. It’s worth it in the end as it won’t get infected or you might miss where your piercing but professionals know what there doing. I think it would look awesome afterwards just don’t do it yourself. If you don’t have the money, just save up and it will be worth it in the end.

Lol I guess im an idiot I did it myself and I think it came out pretty darn good.

NO INFECTION but I had the advantage of my sister having hers professionally done. So yeah I did it out of me not having a job and really wanting it.

But then again I do everything myself. My clothes, hair dye [bleached] and my accesories.

This is just kinda hard. You have to have a lot of self control but yeah I don’t recommend you doing it its hard/

And also get a surgical ring instead of the other oneswhen you first get it. Its easier to put in and it heals faster and I have no idea why. Oh yeah you have to put it in backwards at night for it wont fall out.

GOOD LUCK.
