Can my septum piercing infection cause permanent damage to my nose??
Like, I’m just wondering because my septum is extremely infected (it’s REALLY gross) and if it’ll do any permanent damage to my nose then I’m just going to take it out.

Have you been to a doctor. I have no idea whether it can cause permanent damage. I know that infections can poison your body and cause a range or troubles, maybe even scarring depending on how bad. However it is better that you go to a doctor before your remove it, because removing the piercing could leave some of the gunk inside which can cause problems for you.
You cant remove a piercing while its infected…it will cause the infection to get worse and spread. Have you been to the doctor? You need antibiotics, especially since your nose is so close to your brain i would get the infection treated immediatly.
