Who buys the wedding ring?

A friend of mine might be getting married, and she/I was wondering how one goes about buying the rings? I know the guy is supposed to get the engagement ring… But as far as the wedding rings go… I assume the couple would pick them out together? Not sure of the ettiquette of that, and then, who actually buys them? Is the man supposed to pay for both of them? Or do they each buy the other’s ring? I’m sure you could really do it whateve way you wanted, in the modern world, but what is the traditional way you’re supposed to do it?

I think its something you are suppose to do together… cause some get matching sets of rings. As far as payment well… your going to be married so I don’t think it matters because eventually it’s going to all be THERE money… not his and not hers… theres. I think that is how it goes… but I’m not positive.

at some traditions, the groom buys the wedding ring for bride .. at some traditions, the bride buys the wedding ring for groom.. if u ask me, you must buy it together.. chosing wedding ring can be a good moment for you…
